I know, Batman Begins has already come and gone in the theaters. But for all of you to know, I hate batman. I'll ask someone who their favorite super hero is and they'll say batman. But batman is not a super hero. One girl pointed out to me that batman is so cool because he's a self-made super hero. Sure, he has a cool utility belt and a sweet ride, but that doesn't make him super, just your average everyday hero. I'll say this with the highest respect, but batman should be categorized with our soldiers and firemen, not with the true super heroes such as Spiderman, The Green Lantern, The Incredible Hulk, Wolverine, and Superman. These heroes are classified as super because they are ordinary people who, by some strange coincidence, such as being bit by a spider, being exposed to gamma rays, or are from a planet where they have special powers, have abilities that wow their fans. If I want the story of someone who turned their fear and nothingness into their success, I'll just watch a biography of some of our Presidents. Let the meaningless argument commence...

This does have it's advantages. He has the best of both worlds. Superhero-like...mutant-like...but he never has to hide any mutation or super ability. He can just be a regular guy with no effort. What would Harry Potter be without magic? I myself enjoy gadgets and own several of them myself. I'd rather be able to turn invisible and put up a force field around myself. Batman is just a normal guy with above average strength and impressive gadgets. Which is really not all that impressive. The difference between Batman and our Presidents is first of all G. Dubya doesn't have his own comic book. And needless to say I don't think 8 year old boys want to read a action comic about Dubya making a press statement. Second of all, Batman is a member of The Justice League which is a group of Super Heros. Obviously he made the cut to be on a team of Super heros. Even though he doesn't have powers, he's still riding with the best of them. Not only is he riding with em' he's battling Superman for leadership in The Justice League. Edmond, you didn't watch the movie did you? Batman can glide, and even if he couldn't, he would graple something or push a button and have a Batplane catch him or something. And if you don't classify Batman as a super hero, do you classify the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as super heros? I do. They are my favorite ones! They don't fly. Haven't seen it myself and I can't say much on your commentaries about Super Heroes because the only one I can say I'm an authority on is Wonder Woman. Now she's COOL.
